13 Student Leaders Attend 13th Grace Student Leadership Convention
 |
The 13th Grace Student Leadership Convention, held last November 23-24, 2007 at the (GCHS) High School wing, was a success. It was well attended, with a total of 131 student leaders in the secondary level, 51 of which came from other schools and 80 were class representatives, presidents, vice-presidents and secretaries from HS 2 to HS 4 classes of GCHS.
Rev. Stephen Tan, Resident Pastor of Grace Christian Church, shared the Word of God through his keynote messages. |
Various seminar topics on leadership were given by faculty members of GCHS, namely: Mrs. Ma. Ligaya Gonzales, Dr. Mary Grace Termulo, Mr. Ditzler Morales, Ms. Shierra Jara and Rev. Eduardo Canlas.
The delegates also participated in the workshops conducted by Ms. Marlita Cayetano, who helped the participants make K’Nex models which were eventually displayed. Meanwhile, Mr. Edster Sy gave team-building activities in the school gym.
The delegates learned as they listened to the speakers and enjoyed participating in the activities. Through the convention, they were challenged to be effective leaders. They gained new friends as well. |
